it's your birthday!

so, let's pretend that i'm writing this on

monday, december 6th

and not 1 am, techincally - making it the 7th!

why are we playing pretend?

well.. because school, naptime, and homework

turned me into a horrible best friend.

which means,

i didn't blog about my best friend's birthday!

so, here we go!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, CALCOTE!

words can't explain our friendship!

i am SO blessed to have him

as my very best friend.

he understands me like no one else,
he is there for me no matter what,

he puts a smile on my face so easily,

he has stuck by my side for years,

he is one of a kind - that's for sure.

nothing i can write can express

how much this kid means to me.

so, when i talked to his this afternoon -

i was highly upset to hear he had a bad birthday.

but i got to skype with him,

which put a huge smile on my face!
(if that counts for anything, ha.)

i wish i could've been in alabama

to spend his birthday with him.

actually, to spend any day with him
would be extremely nice.

i miss my best friend so much!

anyways,

i hope i made your birthday somewhat better.

there is no way to explain how ecstatic i am right now.

so, i'm skyping with hunt right now.
we were sending videos back and forth.
he introduced me to this,

pretty sahweet, i must say.

the polar express.

ALLLLLLL ABBOOOOOOARRRRDDDDDD!

so, just a little fyi.. the polar express is my favorite!
there's so many amazing christmas movies; however,
the polar express just holds a little place in my heart.

i loved the book as a kid, like the rest of the world.
now i have a weird obsession with the movie!

it came out in 2004, and i think it's safe to say that
i've watched it at least 200 times.. no joke.

i own three copies of it..
1. boot leg, because i HAD to have it before it came out on dvd.
2. one dvd that i bought the day it came into stores.
3. an extra, because my family hid it because i watched it so much.

well, regardless of the fact that i own three copies..
have already watched it four times since december 1st..
and had already rented two other movies from redbox.

it was coming on abc family.. as part of the 25 days of christmas.
and you would have thought i was a little kid on christmas morning,
i was thrilled that it was on tv.. even though i could watch it on dvd?

so, i snuggled up with a heating blanket, a huge mug of apple cider,
and watched it.. once the credits have rolled, abc family surpised me!

IT STARTED AGAIN.
did i watch it, again?
...is that a serious question?
OF COURSE, I DID!

six times, so far since december started.
it'll probably be close to fourty once it's january.

it's just that great!

victoria's secret.

when i was younger, i wanted to be a victoria's secret model.
now that i'm nineteen, i realize that prancing around in my underwear
and posing practically naked is probably not the best occupation
and definitely doesn't fit my standards. however, i'd kill to be half
as gorgeous and tiny as those ladies!

every single year, i look forward to the victoria secret's fashion show.
the outfits are divine, the stage and props are extravagant,
the performers are wonderful, and the models are breathtaking.

this year.. i set my alarm on my phone, so that i wouldn't miss it.
it went off as i was eating spoonfuls of ice cream outta the container.
i turned it on and continued to eat until adriana lima came on.



SHE WAS JUST PREGNANT.. less than six months ago!
but she is already back to being tiny and in killer shape.

i practically dropped the ice cream and wanted to shove
the spoon down my throat, but i kept my cool.



erin heatherton is one of my favorite angels.
she's young, like twenty one.
but i think she's gorgeous!
and i watched an interview of her,
and she's super down to earth.

one thing that bothered me about the show
was that NO ONE'S outfits matched.
practically everyone's shoes didn't.
it was just peeving me.

anyways,
other than that -
this year's show was amazing.. as always.
